Tollywood actor dies trying to escape from lover's house

An aspiring Telugu actor died after falling from a building fearing his lover's relatives might find him. This incident happened on Friday in Kukatpally police station limits.

Prashant (20) who resides in Musapet, Anjaneyanagar is working in the movie, 'Eppatlo Ramudila Sitala Evaru untaarandi Babu'. He went to his lover's house which is close to his place when her husband was not in the house. When the relatives came home unexpectedly, she tried to hide him and lied that she was asleep.

Doubting her story, the relatives started looking round the house. So, she slit her hand to create a a pell mell to feign innocence and the relatives locked her house to take her to a private hospital.

Prashant later tried to escape by taking the water pipe following which he slipped and died on the spot. Police rushed to the spot and have taken the body to Gandhi Hospital. The final rites will be performed on Saturday.

Prashant performed in JyothiLaxmi along with 3 other short films. The family members were shattered as his film's release was due soon.
