TJAC postpones Sadak Bandh

Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman, Prof. M. Kodandaram on Friday announced that 'Sadak bandh' that was scheduled to be held on February 24 has been postponed following the serial bomb blast incidents in the city.

Talking to reporters after the JAC steering committee meeting on the issue, Kodandaram strongly condemned the incident. He told that the tragedy points to government's failure.

The TJAC chairman also announced that TJAC would organize a candle light vigil on Tank Bund to show their solidarity. When reporters asked about the date of bandh, he said it would be announced soon.

Meanwhile, the state BJP unit has called for a statewide bandh today to protest the twin blasts, party president G Kishen Reddy said.
