Tirumala: JAC blockade hits pilgrims hard
The devotees bound for Tirumala are in for trouble as employment JAC has called for for a 48-hour complete blockade (ashtadigbandhana) from September 14 to September 15.
The JAC had called for ban on plying of APSRTC vehicles on the Tirupati-Tirumala ghat road for 24 hours from Saturday midnight to protest against the Centre's decision to divide the state.
The pilgrims have no other choice than to climb the stairs to reach the hill top.
