Tight security at Golconda Fort

Tight security arrangements have been made in the surroundings of Golconda fort in Hyderabad in view of the BJP's bid to hoist Tricolour on the fort on Hyderabad Liberation Day.

Check-posts were set up along all the roads that lead to the fort.

Earlier, the BJP leaders announced that they will hoist flag on Golconda fort on the occasion of Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.

It may be recalled that BJP had demanded that the State Government officially organise Telangana Liberation Day celebrations.

The BJP leaders have announced that they would conduct the day in the entire state if the state government did not respond to their demand.
