Tigers count starts in N Sagar-Srisailam tiger project

Khadar Vali, Assistant Conservator of Forests, said that they had started the process of counting the population of tigers at Nagarjuna Sagar – Srisailam Tiger Reserve Project.
“The counting has started on May 9 and ends on May 14,” said the official.
The tiger reserve project spreads in the districts of Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Kurnool, Prakasam and Guntur.
The official informed that the counting would be done in a scientific manner.
