Tiff Over Beer Bottle Kills Youth, Injures Another 

A tiff over a bottle of beer led to the death of a youth in Mamidipalem Junction of Anakapalle mandal on Friday night. His enraged friends stabbed him indiscriminately for 17 times. Another person suffered critical stab injuries in the incident.

According to the police, Lalam Paramesh, (28) and Giribabu went to a liquor shop in Mamidipalem Junction. There, he met his friends Pandu, Lacha and others. In an inebrieted condition, they entered into a wordy duel over buying another beer bottle. In the heat of the argument, Pandu, Lacha and others stabbed both Paramesh and Giribabu.While Paramesh died on the spot, Giribabu suffered critical injuries on the ear and the chest. he was rushed to Anakapalli Government hospital.

The police are on the lookout for Pandu and his gang.
