Thunderbolt Strikes Electrical Sub-Station

Siddipet: Heavy rains with thunder and lightning whacked Sidipet town on Wednesay night. Thunderbolt stuck a 32/33 KV electrial sub-station near Mustabad Crossroads in the night. As a result, several transformers were completely damaged. The total worth of the transformers is said to be Rs 5 lakh.
As a result, power supply in various parts of the district has gone kaput. Several low-lying areas have been inundated due to the heavy rain.
