Three students drown on eve of Mahashivratri at Srikakulam

In a shocking incident, three students who went missing in Srikakulam district on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri on Thursday, were found dead Friday morning. 

According to reports, the three students went to take bath at Gotta Barrage, Heera Mandal in Srikakulam district. But they did not return. Two of them were identified as Kishore Raju and Ajay Venkat Kumar. Search is still on for the third student, Appala Reddy.  

They deceased were studying engineering in Saint Theresa Engineer College in Garividi. They had gone for 'darshan' of Mukhalingeshwara Swamy in Srimukhalingham on the eve of Mahashivaratri. As the temple was over crowded, they went to take a dip at the Gotta Barrage.
