Three Nigerians Held For Visa Fraud

Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime unit of Cyberabad police on Tuesday arrested three Nigerians for duping job aspirants by sending fake emails and collecting money.

Based on a complaint lodged by city-based job aspirant Badam Raja Reddy, the city police nabbed Kehinde Oluwatosin, Oyelade oyejide Lawrence and Etommy Martins. After Raja Reddy applied for certain jobs in job portal, he received an email from Bexon Constructions Ltd requesting him to send his resume and other particulars to the email ID: career@bexsonconstructions.info. An unsuspecting Raja Reddy promptly sent his resume and other particulars along with Rs 4,15,000 for visa processing and other permits.

However, he smelt a rat when there was no reply after he transferred money to the bank account given to him. He lodged a complaint with the Cyberabad police. The latter nabbed the accused from Bengaluru after tracing the call details.
