Three killed in road mishap - Sakshi Post


Three persons including a one-year old girl were killed in a road accident at Chengerla village, 15 kms from here, police said today.

According to Manakondur Sub Inspector B Ramesh, the mishap occured last night when 12 persons belonging to two families were on their way to have a holy darshan of Lord Raja Rajeshwara Swamy at Vemulawada.

The auto rickshaw, in which they were travelling was hit by a lorry coming from the opposite direction, he said.

The deceased were identified as driver Sripathi Hanmanthu (44) of Lingapur village, Parkala Prabhakar (30) of Huzurabad and one year old girl Burra Shruthi.

While two persons died on the spot, the girl sucummbed to her injuries at a private hospital in Karimnagar.
