Three killed; 30 hurt in bus-truck collision

The road transport bus was carrying passengers from Tirupati to Railway Kodur when the mishap occurred after midnight, they said. According to Railway Kodur Circle Inspector Rassol, bus conductor K Prabhakar (42) and passenger M Sudheer (30) were killed on the the spot while another passenger K Subbarayudu (75) died at a hospital. The injured passengers were shifted to government hospitals at Kodur and Tirupati, the CI said.

Bus driver Narayana, who was stuck in the bus was later rescued by police and villagers. However, the lorry driver and the cleaner are at large, police added.
