Karimnagar(Telangana): Police on Saturday claimed to have solved 19 cases of both chain snatching and thefts by apprehending three persons and recovering 329 grams gold.

Pallepu Rajesh, P Raju and Sura Sailu alias Srikanth(all aged 25) of Keesara village had snatched golden chains of women belonging to various places in Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts, Superintendent of Police D Joel Davis told reporters.

The accused, who were arrested, had also stolen gold and silver ornaments from temples. They are involved in 19 offences and 329 grams of gold, 300 grams of silver, Rs 5000 cash and a motor cycle were seized from them, the SP said.
