Thoofan release hurdles, a sample for Chiranjeevi?

Despite court orders to provide police security for Ram Charan's 'Thoofan' release, the film did face hurdles in some parts of Seemandhra and Telangana regions.

Despite police cover, the film couldn't have a smooth release. At several places, protestors stalled the screening of the movie. In some places, theatre owners voluntarily halted the movie screening to escape the wrath of protestors.

The first show was to begin at 6 am when Samaikyandhra activists forcibly stopped the screening of the movie. Stone pelting incidents too were reported near some theaters.

The activists warned Chiranjeevi that they will not allow any movies of his family members till he quits his post in support of Samaikyandhra. In Telangana region too, the movie was halted at several places upon the demand of the protestors.

Reports from Palakollu, Narsapuram, Eluru, Srikakulam, Ananthapur, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati suggest that there was no show for 'Thoofan'. Leaders of JAC also burnt posters of the movie despite the movie being stopped.

Advocate JAC said that they stopped the movie release as Chiranjeevi was supporting Samaikyandhra state. However, the movie saw a smooth run in Hyderabad with police protection.

Zanjeer is a sample for Chiranjeevi to show that movies of mega actors will suffer similar fate if he fails to take any bold step.
