Thoofan release: HC orders police protection
This bit of news is definitely music to the ears of 'Thoofan' film producers as well as the fans of Ram Charan. The High Court on Thursday issued orders to the DGP to provide police protection for the release of 'Thoofan'.
It is a known fact that some student organisations had threatened to obstruct the screenings of the film as his father and Union Minister Chiranjeevi did not resign in support of Samaikyandhra. (SJAC warns Chiru)
Meanwhile, Telangana region too is hostile after Chiranjeevi openly batted for united AP. There were rumors that the producers first decided to postpone the movie release date. But gave it a try in the HC.
Reliance Big Entertainment Private Ltd, the company that produced 'Thoofan' film filed a writ petition in the court seeking protection in the wake of some persons allegedly threatening to stall the screening of the movie. (Thoofan posters burnt )
In the petition, they mentioned that some elements had warned to disrupt the screening of the film.
Thoofan is set to be released across the state on September 6 and theatres are booked to facilitate it.
