This Prostitution Den’s Queen Bee Turns Out To Be A Husband-Killer

What initially looked like a normal busting of a prostitution ring in a Mumbai slum for the cops, turned out to be a shocking murder case. The police hoped to arrest Farida Bharti, who was running a prostitution racket in Boisar area of Mumbai on Wednesday. But, they came back with something more shocking. They came back with the skeletal remains of Farida's husband, presumed missing for the last 13 years. More shockingly, it turned out that Farida had actually killed him and dumped the body in her septic tank. She had kept this a closely guarded secret and none in the neighbourhood ever knew about it.

On Wednesday, after rescuing four women from the clutches of the madame, the police conducted searches in the home. They were mortified to find a skeleton in the septic tank. Her husband Sahadev was presumed missing. But, she killed him 13 years ago and buried him in the septic tank.

During the interrogation, she confessed to killing her husband, Sahadev. She also admitted to having battered his head with a boulder.

She has since been arrested. The police are trying to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
