This Minister Swore In the Name of Dog, Not God...

Tassaduq Hussain Mufti, brother of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, on Thursday was sworn in as a Cabinet minister.

Tassaduq has links to film industry and did the camera work for Vishal Bharadwaj''s Omkara. But what made news on Thursday was not he being Mehbooba Mufti’s brother or being a film personality. But, his gaffe of swearing in the name of Dog, instead of God. Though he quickly corrected it, the video clip has gone viral and trolls have poked fun at his slip of the tongue.

Governor N.N. Vohra administered the oath of office to Tassaduq Mufti and Javaid Mustafa Mir at the Raj Bhawan's lawn in Srinagar on Thursday. Both were sworn in as cabinet ministers.
