This Boy Loves To Take ‘Pig’gyride

Kakinada: You must have seen people riding on horses, camels, buffalos or even on a donkey, but have you ever seen anyone taking a ride on a pig?  You would say 'ugh' but meet this Class 4 boy A. Mahesh who enjoys taking a ride on a pig so much that sometimes he also goes to school on a pig.

Interestingly, not just Mahesh but one of the pigs is also fond of him as it doesn’t let anyone sit on it except Mahesh.

Mahesh studies in an elementary school in Kondevaram village of U.Kothapalli Mandal in East Godavari. His mother Satyavathi expresses concern over his son's liking for pigs as Mahesh spends most of the time with pigs rather than studies.

"He has this habit of feeding pigs and playing with them from his childhood. He can’t live without pigs hence we are not selling them,” said Mahesh's father Venkanna.

The couple has two sons - Mahesh and Sumanth - and Venkanna wants Mahesh to rear pigs as he is dull in studies unlike Sumanth. However, Satyavathi asserts that they want both their sons to study well and don’t want to lead their kind of life.
