Thieves decamp with gold, silver jewellery

Thieves struck at a house in Warangal on Saturday when the occupants were sleeping, and fled with gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh, police said.

 According to reports, thieves broke into Ramakrishna degree college principal’s house at Narsampet early morning and made away with valuables. When the principal Pal tried to stop  the thieves, they beat him up and fled from the place. The neighbouring residents rushed Pal to a hospital.

In yet another accident, when two thieves sneaked into a house by breaking open a window, the neighboring residents caught them, beat them black and blue and tied them up.
