CBI completes probe against Jagan, no evidence of quid pro quo - Sakshi Post

In a major relief to YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told the court that it could not find any evidence of quid pro quo deals between Jagan and the following companies: Sundur Power, Jubilee Media Communications, Mantri Developers, Caramel Asia, PVP Business Ventures, Classic Realty, Brahmani Infratech, R R Global and Saraswati Power.

The CBI on Monday informed the special CBI court at Nampally that the investigation has been completed on all aspects as per the directions of the High Court.
The arguments from the lawyers of both Jagan and the CBI have already concluded.
Arguing on behalf of Jagan, his lawyer Sushil Kumar said since the investigations were complete, he should be granted bail. Jagan’s lawyer contended that bail is a fundamental right and should not be stopped based on person’s stature.
Jagan was arrested by the CBI May last year, and has been lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, the CBI court had reserved its order on whether Jagan should be granted bail or not. The judgment will be out anytime.
Scores of Jagan's supporters have gathered near the party office and in the court premises hoping for the good news. Several partymen and well wishers also offered special pujas for the release of their icon.

YS Bharathi, wife of YS Jagan is said to be attending the hearing.
