The Hidden Facts Behind Amaravati
Hyderabad: Former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh IYR Krishna Rao said that people are not aware of the facts behind the guise of Amaravati capital construction. Thanks to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's media management, the stories behind-the-scenes are not being disclosed. He said that media management has turned out to be a curse to the state. Without having proper resources building a capital was not an easy task, he said.
Krishna Rao was speaking at "Evari Rajadhani Amaravati?" book launch function held at Ravindra Bharathi yesterday. He said people were suspecting that something fishy with respect to Amaravati capital construction, but they had no idea of what it was. He blamed that Chandrababu was tactfully using the media so that the truth remains concealed. The retired IAS officer said that the only way to communicate the truth about Amaravati was through writing a book.
The book launch event was attended by various former civil servants. Retired Police chief MV Krishna Rao was the chief guest at the launch, while retired IAS officer, Ajay Kallam was also present. Senior journalists Kingshuk Nag and Bhandaru Srinivasa Rao were also present at the event.
