The drought area farmers are on a exodus : Mysura Reddy - Sakshi Post

YSRCP senior leader MV Mysura Reddy said that the Andhra Pradesh government has let down the people of state and has not kept their promises. On Sunday April 26, Mysura Reddy addressing the media at the YSRCP party office said that the people from drought effected areas of AP have been on an exodus to better places and their their plight is just distressing.

He grieved that " The farmers are having a home wreck as the government has not been offering their produce a minimum benefit price to substantiate their expenditure on the crops,  There is a severe shortage of drinking water, only 25 % of the paddy is being taken by the government, The cotton crop also has not been offered any good minimum benefit price, The promise to offer fixed prices to the produce during the election campaign has just stood a word of mouth. The government is at peace and not bothered while the peasants are suffering with drought and lack of minimum benefit prices being offered to them". He further complained that the government has neither been assessing the extent of damage of the crops nor has it been sending any reports or reviews of loss and damage to the center"
