‘The ball is not in my court'

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has stated that he had not received any file from the State government relating to the resignation submitted by Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao.

While taking with reprters at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday, Narasimhan said that he said the Congress government should take a decision on acceptance of the resignation. ‘The ball is not in my court,’ he clarifified and further said that If the Chief Minister sent a file to him recommending to accept the Minister’s resignation, he would accept it, the Governor stated.
