Tension at OU over jobs

Anticipating trouble form the Unemployment Joint Action Committee, which called for a Chalo Assembly protest, the city police have made elaborate security arrangement at the NCC gate of the Osmania University campus.

Protesting against the Government's decision to regularise contract employees, the Unemployment JAC activists have planned to take out a rally on Monday. 

Security has been beefed up at the campus fearing agitations and police are also diverting vehicles going towards Tarnaka from the OU campus.
The Osmania University students, who were the vanguard of the Telangana movement, have now turned against the TRS ever since it made its decision to regularise contract workers.
The students are demanding that the Government should immediately appoint the public service commission and withdraw the decision to regularise contract the contract employees.
