Telugu students attacked at Manipur NIT

Telugu students were attacked at the campus of National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Manipur.

Disputes  between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana students and the local students started about 20 days ago. Eight Telugu students were injured in these attacks.

The local students reportedly clarified to Telugu people that they had to obey the orders of theirs if they wanted to stay in the campus.

With this, the parents of these Telugu students are worrying a lot. They are requesting the authorities to provide security for their children in the campus.

About 30 Telugu students are now studying in the campus.

Both the chief secretaries of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are trying to talk to the police officials in Manipur and also with the management of the institute.
