Telugu States To Receive Heavy Rains Today, Tomorrow 

Hyderabad: After the city witnessed a brief spell of showers on Monday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials have predicted a heavy downpour for both the Telugu states on Tuesday and Wednesday. The officials said that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds may occur at several places.

The monsoon is expected to advance from the Kerala coast to Rayalseema in coastal Andhra Pradesh and further into Telangana after June 8. However, the officials said that the monsoon is likely to pass though the Telugu states between June 10 and 12.

On Monday following the pre-monsoon showers, the city stood at 39.1 degrees while the maximum temperature was 42°C recorded at Ramagundam.
