Telugu actor caught for drunken driving
Telugu film actor Raja Ravindra was caught by the police while driving his Skoda Laura (AP 20AP 1111) in a tipsy state in the city on Saturday night.
He was caught by the police during a special drive at the Jubilee Hills Check Post.
Traffic inspector Balakrishna Reddy said that they stopped Raja's over speeding vehicle and tested him with the handheld breath analyser. It revealed an alcohol content of 27 mg of 100 ml, he said and added that police book drunken drivers with an alcohol level of .3 mg of 100 ml.
Police registered a case and seized his vehicle. He is likely to be produced before the court on Monday where he would have to pay a fine of around Rs. 5,000 and then attend counseling by the traffic police. He would then be given his car back.
