Addressing the youth in a job mela organised in Warangal city on Thursday morning, Amrapali encouraged the job aspirants to tell lies during interviews to fetch jobs.

Warangal: Young and dynamic IAS officer Amrapali Katta, who hogged headlines for purchasing 300 Baahubali tickets for employees recently, has made some sensational remarks during a job mela.

Addressing the youth in a job mela organised here in the city on Thursday morning, Amrapali encouraged the job aspirants to lie during interviews to fetch jobs.

“Everyone should tell lies during interviews. You won't fetch jobs if you are truthful to the interviewer. I told this in the previous job mela and I am telling now," she said.

However, the Warangal Urban Collector said that one cannot lie to the interviewer when it comes to marks in academics. Everything with respect to questions should be exaggerated and inflated to get job, she exhorted.

Countering the IAS officer's remarks, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari exhorted youth to face interview with a honestly. "Carefull while lying during interviews, sometimes it lies will bring harm to your employment," he said.
