Woman Dies As Car Falls On Her From Bio-diversity Flyover

HYDERABAD: One woman died on spot and nine others were severely injured after a car which lost control fell down from the newly-constructed bio-diversity flyover in Ganchibowli on Saturday, November 22.

According to police, the car which had lost control overturned and fell down over the woman who was waiting for an auto under the bio-diversity flyover.

The impact was so severe that the woman was crushed under the car which was completely damaged.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police says that prima facie it appears to be a case of rash driving.

Heavy traffic congestion has been reported in the area following the accident.

Police have filed a case and the details of the injured and the deceased women is identified as Satyaveni.

Following the incident, the flyover has been temporarily closed for three days. The officials ordered to install signboards on the flyover.

GHMC has given 5 lakhs as exgratia to the victim of the incident.
