TSRTC Driver Tries To Set Himself Ablaze At Musheerabad Depot - Sakshi Post

HYDERABAD: Depressed over the ongoing crisis, a TSRTC employee attempted to commit suicide by pouring petrol and tried to set himself ablaze at Musheerabad depot here. The other RTC employees foiled his suicide bid and saved him.

According to the reports, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employee Saidulu is a driver at the Musheerabad bus depot.

As the TSRTC employees’ strike reached its 43rd day on November 16, several agitating TSRTC staff have committed suicide.

On the other hand, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is firm on his decision of not merging TSRTC with the state government and is taking steps to privatise the TSRTC. Depressed with CM KCR's decision and fearing job loss, many TSRTC employees have taken their lives.

In a similar incident Avula Naresh (51) consumed pesticide in the early hours on November 13. He was rushed to Mahabubabad area hospital, but he died while undergoing treatment.
