3 Children Drown In Moya Tummeda River In Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR: Three students were drowned in Moya Tummeda river near here when they went for a bath on the auspicious occasion of "Kartika Pournami" (full moon) on Tuesday.
Police said that the three had entered the river at around 9.30 in the morning and were washed away.
They hailed from Varkol village under the jurisdiction limits of Koheda police.
Assistant Commissioner of Police M Mahender told a news agency that the bodies have been fished out.
