PMK Leader Expresses Shock Over killing of Vijaya Reddy - Sakshi Post

HYDERABAD: Pattali Makkal Katchi Party (PMK) founder S Ramadoss responds over killing of a woman Tahsildar in Telangana and said that he is deeply shocked with that incident that took place on Monday, November 4 with Abdullapurmet’s Tahisildar Vijaya Reddy.

She was attacked by a farmer named Suresh, who had a pending court case against him and his brother. Suresh had visited the Thaisil office with some petrol. He walked into the Thaisildar’s office and locked the door from inside. They broke into an argument which then turned physical. He threw some petrol and set her on fire. He also had caught fire and sustained 60% burns in the bargain. The driver that tried to save the Thaisildar also saw his end a day later as he succumbed to the burn injuries that were inflicted on him while he tried to save Vijaya Reddy.

He took his twitter handle and raised his voice against the insane act.

"It is shocking to see a woman tahsildar being set on fire in the office itself and killed. It is frightening to think what will happen if everybody takes law into their hand," he tweeted.

The Murder of A lady Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy, who was working in the Abdullapurmet Tahsil office in Ranga Reddy district  is one of the worst incidents to have happened in public office.

Two people working in the office who tried to save her were also injured and were taken to the hospital, one among them succumbed to his injuries in the hospital due to infection.
