Telangana High Court Upset With RTC Affidavit
HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court expressed its dissatisfaction with the affidavit submitted by the RTC counsel, claiming that the accounts shown were not clear. This was expressed by the HC during the proceedings of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TRSTC) strike matter, which had come up for hearing on Friday. The Court asked the RTC counsel to submit a fresh affidavit with proper details and adjourned the matter November 7.
The High Court also found fault with the officials who submitted selected statistics about the dues to the RTC. The High Court directed TSRTC In-charge Managing Director Sunil Sharma to submit a detailed report.
Meanwhile, the indefinite strike by TSRTC employees and JAC leaders entered its 28th day on Friday.
The Telangana cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would be held on November 2 where they are expected to discuss the issues on the ongoing strike by the TSRTC employees and further course of action.
