CPI Leader Goes On Indefinite Hunger Strike In Support Of TSRTC
HYDERABAD: Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Kunamaneni Sambasiva Rao started an indefinite hunger strike from Saturday, October 26 at Makdoom Bhavan in Himayatnagar in support of the ongoing TSRTC strike.
Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy visited Makdoom Bhavan where Sambasiva Rao staged indefinite hunger strike and said that THE Telangana Chief Minister is planning to acquire the assets of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) public transport corporation. He lashes out at CM KCR for his decision of sacking 48,000 agitating employees and alleged that some TSRTC employees died due to CM KCR's words.
The TSRTC strike reached its 22nd day on Saturday (October 26). It has been escalating by the day, and all party leaders have been extending their support to TSRTC JAC employee unions and have been carrying out protests across the state.
