NIA Searches Residence Of Retired Doctor For Alleged Maoists Links

Mancherial: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted a search on retired doctor Chandrashekhar's residence in Telangana’s Mancherial for his alleged connections with Maoists on Friday. This incident came to light on Saturday.

Two mobile phones, hard disk have been seized by the NIA.

Chandrashekhar said that he had treated the lady Maoist who was diagnosed with cancer named Narmada aka Nirmala and she surrendered to the police recently.

He also added that according to the information gathered from the lady maoist the NIA carried searches.
