TRS Misusing Power To File Cases Against Opposition: Uttam Kumar Reddy
Huzurnagar: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy lashed out at TRS party leaders for allegedly attacking Congress party activists and threatening them if they refused to join the ruling TRS party.
Uttam Kumar Reddy Inaugurated the Congress party office in Chintalapalem on Sunday. Speaking at the meeting, Uttam Kumar alleged that TRS was completely misusing its power and filing cases against opposition party leaders to threaten them. He warned TRS high command that they will protest against them if any of the Congress activists face injustice due to TRS.
Uttam Kumar Reddy reminded TRS over the Pulichinthala Project and rehabilitation centers which were constructed by late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy during his ruling to provide a better life for the flood-affected victims in that region. He stated that TRS had not built any such rehabilitation centers anywhere in the state. He questioned TRS minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy over neglecting flood-affected victims under Pulichinthala Project area during TRS ruling.
Uttam says that Nalamada Padmavathi Reddy will contest as the Congress candidate in the Huzurnagar assembly constituency by-election in Suryapet District, and asked the party leaders to extend their support and cooperation to her to make sure Congress wins with a huge majority.
Several Key Congress leaders like Narala Koda Reddy, Chilakala Srinivasa Reddy, Morthala Seetha Reddy, Kotte Saideshwar Rao, Shagam Reddy, and others attend this meeting.
