KCR Expresses Shock Over AP Boat Tragedy

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has expressed shock over the boat tragedy that occurred near Papikondalu in East Godavari District.

CM has conveyed his deep condolences to the members of the bereaved families.

Since there were people from Telangana among those who lost their lives, CM has instructed officials concerned to take the necessary action.

He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the members to the bereaved families.

CM has asked Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar to take part in the relief measures.
