Youngsters Lose Lakhs To Fraudster For Securing Jobs At Hyderabad Airport
Hyderabad: Police have arrested a youth for allegedly duping unemployed youth with the false promise of providing jobs at Shamshabad airport.
According to police, the accused was identified as Santosh, a native of Hyderabad. He contacted more than 30 people with different ID cards and promised to get a job at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. He is also said to have charged one lakh rupees from each one and collected thirty lakh rupees in all from the victims.
After a few days, the victims learned that they were deceived by him as there was no response from him to their calls. It was then that they filed a case against him at Shamshabad airport police station. Based on a complaint, a case was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and he was taken him into custody.
