Medak Man Beaten Up For Rape Attempt On Married Woman In Drunk State

Medak, Thoguta (Dubbaka): A man was beaten up by local villagers when he attempted to rape a married woman in an intoxicated state. This incident has taken place at Muthyampeta (Pittalawada) in Dubbaka Mandal. According to local villagers, a 56-year-old man went to the hut of a married woman (28) at midnight on Thursday. After he entered, he tried to rape her but she resisted and called for help and then he absconded from the place.

On the next day morning, she brought the incident towards local panchayat leaders. When local panchayat leaders questioning him, the angry women poured chilli powder on him and thrashed him. The women asked local panchayat leaders to take steps to prevent these incidents from happening in future.
