Mystery Shrouds A Class IX Student’s Death After He Faints In Classroom In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A class IX student died under mysterious circumstances after he fell unconscious at his school in Owaisipura here on Thursday. Despite being rushed to the hospital immediately after he lost consciousness, he died while undergoing treatment hours later. Everyone is at a loss to ascertain as to what went wrong as there were no visible marks of any external injury or any underlying health condition as per the family and school management.

The 13-year-old boy Mohammed Aman was a student of Tulasi High School. At around 3:15 PM on Thursday, the boy suddenly fell flat on the ground losing consciousness in the class. Jittered school management immediately informed his family. His father Mohammed Ayub reached the school and rushed him to Virinchi Hospital and from where he was shifted to Rainbow Hospitals in Banjara Hills. He died around 11:15 PM on the same day, said Aman's uncle Mohammed Arshad Ahmed.

He further said they had checked with the school management if the boy was involved in any fight with other students or was he hurt in any other way. But there was no such thing nor were there any injuries on his body. Even the boy did not have any underlying medical condition, he added.

Confirming the same, Humanyun Nagar Police Station sub-inspector D Satyanarayana said the investigating officers are waiting for an autopsy report to ascertain the reason behind the boy's sudden death. A case was registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC.
