Mahabubnagar: 10 Teachers Suspended For Remaining Absent From Duty

Mahabubnagar: Mahabubnagar district collector Ronald Ross has sacked ten teachers for not keeping up with their duties. At 9.15 am on Saturday, he abruptly conducted checks on the Girls High School at Gandhi Road in the district center. Of the 16 teachers, three were on leave and only four attended the school during prayer time.

The collector, who participated in the prayers along with the children, inspected the school premises, classrooms and washrooms. Even after the prayer was over, the Collector noticed that the other teachers remained absent and the surroundings were unclean. He immediately passed an order to Education Authorities to suspend 10 teachers. In this regard, DEO Nampally Rajesh clarified that the Collector had indeed passed orders to suspend the absent teachers.
