Journalist Falls Off Panjagutta Flyover After Being Hit By Car

Hyderabad: A 34-year-old man was killed in a road accident on Punjagutta flyover late on Saturday night. The victim, identified as Mohammad Tajauddin, who reportedly works as a journalist for a vernacular daily in Hyderabad, is a native of Karimnagar.

According to the police, Tajauddin fell from the Punjagutta flyover after his motorcycle was hit by a car coming in the opposite direction.

The victim was heading towards Begumpet from Banjara Hills. The impact of the collision caused the victim to land on the service road beneath and sustaining grievous injuries resulting in his death immediately.

As per the witnesses at the scene, the car driver was driving in an intoxicated condition when the mishap took place. The driver of the car reportedly absconded after the accident. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and registered a case.
