Nowhera Shaikh Used Morphed Pictures Of Sushma Swaraj To Promote Business
Hyderabad: Heera group director Nowhera Shaikh accused of running over 5,000-crore fraud ponzi scheme, allegedly used ‘morphed’ photographs of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to further her activities. This was revealed in the chargesheet filed by Hyderabad police’s Central Crime Station (CCS) against her and other accused Molly Thomas and Biju Thomas and Heera Group of companies.
In one of the photographs, Swaraj is seen giving away a book ‘The Indian Super 100’ to Nowhera during the minister’s visit to Dubai in 2014, the charge-sheet read.

Hyderabad police are planning to write the MEA to get the list of businessmen who received the book.
The morphed photographs were shown in the promotions of the complany on their in-House web channel H-Channel. The MEA event was made part of the promotion.
Police said that Swaraj was giving out the book to someone else, but morphing the photograph, it showed that the former MEA was handing the book to Nowhera instead. There are three such morphed photos like that.
Heera Group is accused of fraudulently collecting investments from lakhs of innocent victims on the promise of providing very high returns of approximately 36 per cent by indulging in gold trading etc. The scheme was unsustainable and the group has defaulted in the repayment of the principal amount and promised returns to its investors.
