1. Swimming In Lake Turns Tragic For Three Children In Gadwal
It turned tragic for three kids who went to swim in a lake at Rajoli mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district and drowned on Sunday. The children - Charan (7), Shivaiah (9) and Yugandhar (6) went for swimming alone along with two other children, Madhu and Vamsi. They are residents of Sri Ram colony.
2. Hyderabad Man Among Two Killed In US Car Collision
A man from Telangana was killed in a road accident in the United States on Sunday. The incident took place at Bayview district of San Francisco. As per the details, the man, identified as Syed Waseem Ali (27) hailed from Dabeerpura in Hyderabad and resided at Walnut Ave, Fremont in California. The mishap occurred when the car he was traveling in crashed into another car.
3. Telangana Police Get Weekly Off
The state government is fully prepared to implement the long-awaited weekly-off for the Telangana Police Department. All districts have already received orders from the DG office. According to the duty roster chart, the DG office has directed all district SP and commissioner offices to plan weekly offs based on staff ratio.

The southwest monsoon arrived in the two Telugu states on Friday, marking the end of summer and triggering hopes of bountiful rains. The protest in government teaching hospitals continued on Friday and patients had to wait for long hours as senior doctors had to attend to too many patients. The striking doctors held a rally in the premises of the college and hospital and also staged a sit-in inside the hospital premises. The junior doctors have called for a hunger strike to support their demand that the government must not increase the age of retirement of doctors.
