Fearing Police Investigation, Man Climbs Electric Pole In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A man climbed an electric pole on Sunday after the police detained him for questioning in Bachupally area of Hyderabad.

The police brought him for questioning in connection with a case of a missing woman. In response, the man, who is yet to be identified threatened to commit suicide.

The man, hailing from Telangana climbed an electric pole near the police station and threatened to end his life, while hanging from the electric pole. It took a couple of hours for the police to deal with the situation and pacify him. He was eventually brought down and later handed over to the Andhra Pradesh police as the missing woman's case pertains to the region.
