Dasari Prabhu - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Late director Dasari Narayana Rao's son Prabhu, who was reported missing since June 9 had returned home to his residence in Road No 46 at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, on Wednesday. Police officers took him into custody and have reportedly questioned him about his where he was.

A case was earlier registered at the Jubilee Hills Police Station by his father-in-law Narla Surendra Prasad about his mysterious disappearance from home. His family members after searching for him subsequently lodged a missing complaint with the police.

Police formed a team and started to search for him. After verifying CCTV footage, they saw that he had taken an auto to Imlibun bus station and boarded a Chittoor-bound bus. SI Chandrasekhar and his team spent three days in Chittoor and Tirupati trying to locate his whereabouts , but to no avail.

It is believed that he had come on the 12th to the city along with his first wife Dasari Suseela. Despite questioning it is reported that Prabhu was giving contradictory answers as to where he had gone .He claims to have gone to Chittoor and Tirupati to sort out differences with his first wife who he had divorced a long time ago. He claimed that she was still harassing him for property despite being remarried. To put an end to the harassment he is said to have gone to her home to talk to her.

Previously in 2008, Prabhu had gone missing and upon his return, he alleged that his ex wife Susheela had abducted him for the property.

Elaborating further, Prabhu had stated that Susheela, with the help of some unidentified persons, abducted him and locked him in a lodge in Chittoor district. Refuting the allegations, Susheela, in turn, said that her in-laws were harassing her for dowry.

Jubilee Hills Police are still questioning him and verifying details about where he actually went.
