Khammam: Close Shave For TSRTC Passengers  

The TSRTC bus rammed into a bridge railing in Enkoor - Sakshi Post

Khammam: The passengers of a TSRTC bus had a narrow escape in Enkoor on Monday after the vehicle the hit a bridge railing and stopped in a dangerous position. The bus traveling to Manuguru from Khammam belonged to Manuguru depot.

As per the details, 66 passengers were on-board at the time of the accident. The mishap occurred on the outskirts of Enkoor when the bus was heading to cross a bridge on SRSP canal. As another RTC bus was coming from the opposite direction, the bus driver, Prabhakar attempted to avoid crashing into the bus and steered the vehicle to the left.

However, the bus rammed the bridge railing, averting a major accident as the vehicle could have fallen into the canal.

Upon receiving the information regarding the incident, the police rushed to the spot and assisted the passengers from the vehicle. Even the villagers came to the rescue of the passengers, who were safely evacuated from the bus. Another bus was arranged later for the passengers to reach their destination.
