A Day After Schools Reopen, Class X Student Ends Life In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A Class X student jumped off the fifth floor of the school building on Thursday. The schools in Telangana re-opened on June 12, 40 days after the summer vacation. Just a day after the re-opening of the schools, a 15-year-old student committed suicide in the Hyderabad.

The incident took place at Sainagar colony in Nagole. The student was identified as Vivika, who was pursuing her Class X studies at Nagarjuna School in Nagole.

On Thursday morning, the student off the fifth floor of her school building. While she was rushed to Kamineni Hospital in LB Nagar but succumbed to her injuries on the way.

A case has been registered by the police, who are probing the reason for her suicide. Further details are awaited.
