Warangal: Man Trapped In Well, Rescued By Locals After Two Days

Warangal: Locals came to the rescue of a man who was trapped in a 50-foot deep well for two days after he accidentally fell into it. As per the details, the man, Madipelli Mogili was heading towards Mucherla on business on his two-wheeler.

The incident occurred in Mucharla Nagaram village of Hasanparthy Mandal in Warangal when he fell into the well along with the bike. He sustained minor injuries due to the mishap, which took place on Thursday night.


Thereafter, he kept shouting for help but since the well was not close to any agricultural fields, there were no passersby in the area. Hence, his pleas for help went unheard. A native of Jammikunta town in Karimnagar district, Mogili was trapped in the well for almost two days. On Saturday, a farmer, who was passing by heard his screams and looked into the well to find him stuck inside. The farmer immediately alerted the locals who brought ropes to help the man.

They lowered two ropes into the well and helped Mogili climb. He was later rushed to a private hospital in Hanamkonda, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
