Hyderabad: Car Catches Fire After Collision With Container; One Injured

Hyderabad: A person sustained serious burn injuries after a car in which was travelling caught fire when the vehicle crashed into a container lorry on the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The incident took place under the limits of Rajendranagar Police station in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday.
Both the vehicles caught on fire in the mishap and the passersby immediately alerted the police, who managed to pull out the passenger from the car and shifted him to a nearby hospital.
According to the police, the container lorry, carrying the tins of asian paint was heading to Shamshabad from Gachibowli, when the mishap occurred. The car was completely destroyed in the fire while the lorry was damaged partially. A case has been registered and the investigation is underway.
