TV9 Revokes All Powers Of Ravi Prakash, Appoints Mahendra Mishra As Interim CEO
In a latest twist to the TV9 forgery case, CEO Ravi Prakash has been fired and Mahendra Misra who is currently heading the Karnataka Operations has been appointed as the interim CEO. The board of directors after an emergency board meeting arrived at this decision. The board also announced Singa Rao as the COO of the company. In a press meet held after the meeting, the management stated that all the powers vested with Ravi Prakash and Muthy had been withdrawn.
It is learnt that the board of directors of the firm held a meeting since 11 in the morning to discuss the latest developments, legal status of the company and further course of action to be taken in light of these developments. And as part of the discussions they removed V Ravi Prakash as CEO and appointed Mishra as the acting CEO. It's worth mentioning here that the new COO of TV9 is Currently CEO of 10TV, Which is also allegedly promoted by the My Home Group.
Singa Rao was associated with MAA TV for over six years and actively involved in the transaction process with Star India Private Limited as the Chief Integration Officer and the Head of Operations.
Mahendra Misra has been associated with TV9 Kannada since its inception.
